A genuine Lake District loop, linking Tilberthwaite Road and High Oxen Fell Road near Coniston, the pair of UCRs the Lake District National Park Authority tried to close in 2019, a 2020 judicial review upheld their staying open, with the real road over Wrynose Pass, one of England's most famous mountain roads. Back Beck Road, Scar House Lane and Stickle Bridge complete the loop. Every lane is currently open and legal to ride.
This is a real, off-road motorcycle route, built entirely from lanes Holloway's own mapping already shows as currently legal to ride. It strings together real BOATs and byways with the actual roads that connect them, so the GPX traces the whole route, not just the off-road sections in isolation.
Tilberthwaite Road and High Oxen Fell Road are real fell tracks with rougher surfaces and real gradient, expect loose stone. Wrynose Pass itself is an ordinary paved road but a genuinely steep, narrow mountain pass with hairpins, ride to the conditions. No fords currently flagged.
