A point-to-point ride from São José Coffee on the edge of Bedford, north through Cross End Lane, Hangman’s Lane and Sandye Lane, past Kimbolton and along Cockway Lane to the byways at Spaldwick. About 37km in all, 11km of it on byway, with gravel, grass and some rutted sections. Hangman’s Lane, Cockway Lane and the Spaldwick byways close to motor vehicles from 1 October to 30 April.

This is a real, off-road motorcycle route, built entirely from lanes Holloway's own mapping shows as legal to ride, some of them seasonally. It strings together real BOATs and byways with the actual roads that connect them, so the GPX traces the whole route, not just the off-road sections in isolation.
Hangman’s Lane, Cockway Lane, Spaldwick BY 3 and Spaldwick BY 2 close to motor vehicles from 1 October to 30 April. Outside those dates the whole route is open. In the closed months, open the Holloway map to find open lanes nearby instead.
A mix of gravel, grass and mud. Sandye Lane has deep 4x4 ruts that overgrowth can hide, and the Spaldwick byways are graded harder from trail-condition tags. Expect walkers and horse riders, especially on Sundays.
