Cars restricted, motorcycles remain legal: Lancashire County Council Hornby Road (also known as Slaidburn Road) Salter Fell, Lancaster City and Ribble Valley Borough - Prohibition of Driving Order 1998, in force since 23 March 1998. No motor vehicle may use this road between Higher Salter Farm and Wood House Lane, about 13km, except a solo motorcycle without a sidecar, which is fully exempt (Article 3).
